About Tropical Masonic Lodge No. 56
Tropical Lodge meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month and never goes dark. We were chartered by The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Florida on January 18, 1893.
For well over 125 years, Tropical Lodge No. 56 has been the focus of Freemasonry in Fort Myers and throughout Southwest Florida. With the exception of a few meetings in 2020 (due to Covid-19 mandates) our lodge has never missed a stated communication, not even during the World Wars.
We currently have close to 300 members and are always looking for other good men to continue our growth in the Fort Myers area. Whether you are looking to become a Mason and go through the three degrees or an existing Brother Mason from another jurisdiction wanting to transfer, please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Our lodge also serves as the Southwest Florida Masonic Center as a meeting place for other Masonic organizations like Scottish Rite, York Rite, Grotto, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
